Data we collect

Your email address, the time you joined, the consent version you agreed to and which page you signed up from. Our database stores no IP address and no user agent. Cloudflare may keep standard request logs that include IP addresses.

Purpose and legal basis

We email you once when Branchlanes (formerly Flook) opens; nothing else. The legal basis is your consent.

Storage location

Cloudflare D1, a database hosted by Cloudflare in the European Union (EU jurisdiction).

Retention

We keep your email for at most 12 months after you joined, or until you ask us to delete it. When you ask, we delete it immediately.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to how we use it, or get a copy in a machine-readable format. You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect what we did before. Email emil@markgren.eu. We answer within one month. You can also complain to IMY, the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (imy.se).

Subprocessors

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site and database and runs Turnstile, the bot check on the signup form. Turnstile processes technical data such as your IP address and browser signals to tell people from bots; we do not receive or store that data. Transfers outside the EU, if any, are covered by Cloudflare's data processing agreement (EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

Version and date

Branchlanes was previously called Flook. Signups made under the Flook name are covered by this policy; the controller, purpose, data and retention are unchanged.

Version 2026-11-2, effective 2026-11-04. If this policy changes in a way that matters, we ask for your consent again before using your data under the new version.
